With over a decade of non-life experience, Nasir’s experience is wide ranging and includes: capital modelling, internal model validation, reserving, risk management, model use with visualisation, Solvency II and process transformation projects. Nasir has led large teams to deliver various engagements internationally and in the UK, across personal lines and commercial lines insurers. Most recently Nasir is leading the development of the ANN internal product solutions.

Prior to co-founding ANN Consulting, Nasir worked for two of the Big 4 consultancies and a medium sized Lloyd’s Syndicate.

Alun started his actuarial career in the pricing and capital teams at a large personal lines insurer before moving on to a Lloyd's Managing Agency where he held the positions of Pricing Actuary and Capital Actuary.

Through his various roles, Alun has acquired a broad range of skills in commercial and personal lines pricing, reserving, internal model validation, capital modelling and process development for enhancing model use.

Alun has a high degree of skill and knowledge in Business Intelligence and Visualisation. He has worked on various projects to deliver impressive insight into our client’s business and performance, both on a high and low level.

Axit is a qualified Actuary with over a decade of capital modelling experience, of which five in general insurance. He started his career using stochastic modelling to advise institutional investors (AUM up to £40bn) on their investment strategies, asset allocation, capital and risk management, across different industries, countries and regulatory regimes. He was also involved in an ESG technical team, and in internal product development. He then transferred his skills of model use, model validation, and institutional balance sheet risk management to the General Insurance industry. Axit was recently a Non-Executive Director for a technology start-up.

Axit’s areas of focus include: capital model build and calibration, PPO modelling and reserving, investment strategies and modelling, model validation and documentation. Axit was most recently a Validation Actuary at a large Lloyd’s syndicate going through a major model change, and has supported a large insurer through their IMAP approval process.
